American Cancer Society Relay for Life

The attorneys and staff of Andrews and Beard take an active role in the community in professional organizations, community groups, and as a Firm.

The staff raises money all year for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and fields a team at the annual event held each June at Mansion Park in Altoona. The Firm has participated as a team for more than 11 years. This year, Managing Partner David P. Andrews, a cancer survivor, was chosen to be Relay's Adult Ambassador.

Blair County Sports Hall of Fame

Managing Partner David P. Andrews is president of the Blair County Sports Hall of Fame and spearheads a team of community leaders who organize and raise funds for this bi-annual event. The Sports Hall of Fame recognizes area athletes for their life-time achievement, and awards two scholarships (male and female) each year to scholar-athletes from area schools.
